Lynda Bryer
Being born and raised in Africa instilled in me a deep respect and connection to nature and all its wonders. This has extended into curiosity about our own human landscapes, learning through neuroscience and other fields of study “how we tick”. Turns out we are remarkably like each other, have the same set of emotional needs we need to get met to be well, and can use our very own resources to get these needs met. Anyway, back to me!
I am a state registered Occupational Therapist, Human Givens Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist, and a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. I have worked for over 20 years in the NHS in various mental health settings and continue to do so. I have a small private practice as I also look after my lovely mum. I lived a lengthy period in East Sussex offering Stress Reduction courses in Seaford. I have been interviewed on local radio and in the Brighton Argus newspaper and written articles for the Seaford Scene magazine.
I am drawn to working in groups, being aware of the power of shared experiences, and connections as a support. We are in this ‘thing‘ called life together, so why not find a new awareness and a deeper understanding of both us and others, whilst connecting to joy and pleasure.
Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to meeting you and creating a more joyful community.
